Howdy Everyone! We have recruited Guitar Strings and Varlokas to the Development team to help bring many more features to our beloved PLH. Please join us in welcoming them to their new roles which I have seen them tirelessly work on today to bring out some new security features with the Amazing Dutch! We hope they will never need to be used but they are there just in case something like this happens again.
New Features?
Yes we have some new features on the discord server aimed at community protection after recent events.
These are only to be used if a moderator is not available when there are serious incidents on the discord.
The first is the Vote-to-remove a message feature, you can now react to a message or image with 🚫. If this gets 8 votes then the message will be removed. This is not to be abused as all actions are logged to the moderator team. Read the #rules channel for further information on this. This will also actiavte a timeout on the member who posted the message or media.
The second is the Vote-to-timeout a member of the discord, you can now type %timeout @member i.e. ‘%timeout @parracite‘. Once this reaches 8 votes then the person will be put on a timeout and not able to send any messages for a period of time. To release the timeout, you will need to contact one of the moderators.
